Mari
Mari is afraid to stay alone in the forest because in the darkness and silence, fear can come just when you least expect it. That’s why she always keeps her faithful friend Berta close. Berta is her guardian angel, her support when nighttime fears start swirling in her mind again. But Mari doesn’t want fears to rule her heart, so she’s ready to go into the forest, even if doubt creeps into her heart. Being in the forest is actually a great joy for her — at every step, the red, sweet heads of wild strawberries and the deep blue berries of blueberries await her, shining in the summer warmth. Her hands reach out to pick them, and every new berry brings a smile to her face.
Mari loves to balance wild strawberries on the tip of a straw, although sometimes it’s a little tricky. But when she finally sits by the campfire with Berta, where their cold hands and stomachs get warm, they share those strawberries and memories that are as soft and gentle as the summer evening breeze.
With Berta’s company, Mari fears nothing, because where friends and the silence of nature free the soul, no fear can easily torment her anymore. That’s why she gladly shares her wild strawberry harvest, because in every berry there is something special — just like in every moment of nature they experience together. Tareke Mari is a place that has everything a soul needs — peace, warmth, the love of friends or family that connects them. It’s an ideal place for families, groups of friends, but also for lone travelers seeking the peace, purity, and beauty of nature to find new balance within themselves.
