Water activities on Rummu artificial lake
Rummu pit artificial lake has true blue lagoon water that you have to see to believe. The lakes floor is white because of the old mine that got filled up with water by accident. There are a lot of interesting things underwater like trees, buildings and fish. Rummu lake is located only 3 km from our resort. It is really nice to have a good meal after 3 hours of activities on water. Kallaste Turismitalu Holiday Resort offers a range of saunas to choose from – one hotter than other. PS: It is also a cool idea to combine water activities with “Military nature tour – Rummu ash mountain!”. Than you will climb to top of ash mountain and paddle on the lake – this way seeing a wider range of the are from different angles. It is also possible to have a picnic in between the activities. If you are interested we also have a guide who can tell you more about the old mine and prison and the whole area.
Active canoeing:
Canoe is a good way to explore all corners of the lake. Canoe is perfect for 2 but can fit even 3 people. Canoeing is rather active activity.

SUP :
SUP – Standup paddle-boarding is a really cool way to explore Rummu lake – whole of it. As it is easy to move you can explore all the corners of the lake. SUP board is similar to surfboard, but paddle is used to move. Person stands or kneels down on the board. The activity is easy to learn for all.

Rafting / night rafting with underwater lights:
Visiting Rummu artificial lake in the night time is a whole new cool way to explore this place with soviet aura around it. You are taken on the lake when it is already dark with a raft boat (8 people on one raft). There are lights underneath the raft so you can see fish and things on the lake floor. Everything makes the visit memorable and unique – mystic even. It is also possible to visit Rummu lake with rafts on daytime!
